On Sunday, August 28, 2011, 17 individuals representing service area social services agencies and service ministries were introduced to the congregation as our Community Partners. Each individual organization has received funds distributed   from the BLC Strawberry Festival Proceeds (matched by Thrivent Financial) and the BLC Endowment Fund. Each partner spoke briefly during the worship service about their services to the Greater Elgin Community.
